2013 has been another fantastic year for the South Coast branch of the Ulysses Club.
Quite apart from our regular rides, we had a huge turnout for the Fraser Coast AGM with many members travelling on together to interesting destinations after that event. Our branch members have undertaken motorcycle tours in many far flung places around the country and even overseas including places like South East Asia and Europe. Our membership continues to grow with at least 30 new members joining us this year. We are averaging well over 50 members at each monthly meeting and our rides have been generally well attended.
So let's finish the year off with a bang!

Our next two events are among our most enjoyable and worthy ones. Our Branch Christmas Party is on again at Lake Tabourie Tourist Park from 16th-17th November. Anyone who has attended one of our Christmas parties will tell you how much fun they are. Another marquee event for our Branch is our Annual South Coast Toy Run on Sunday 1st December. This event is supported by our Branch and collects toys and other donations to make Christmas enjoyable for kids and families who would otherwise have a bleak outlook. This is a "feel good" event and attracts hundreds of riders every year. So gather your riding friends and help us make a difference at this important time of year. Details for both events are in the Rides and Socials sections of this website.
Your President Michael Livissianos and Secretary Mike Leonard would like to thank all of our members for their support and friendship this year.
It has certainly been an eventful and generally successful one. All of you have contributed in some way to the success of our branch and I think we have all made new acquaintances and friendships through the year. We have lived up to our motto of "grow old disgracefully" with some style and we hope that you will all continue to do so through the holiday season and into next year. Our only regret this year has been the cancellation of our Meet and Greet through lack of numbers. We share this event every three years with the Port Stephens and Mudgee branches, and we have learned from this year and have watched other successful events and have already started planning for our next Meet and Greet which we are sure will be the best ever.
